Hybrid - A Concept

Whilst experimenting with the the app ‘Forger’ on the IPad Pro, I discovered that you can select an area on a form and mask/protect it. This makes it impossible to edit and manipulate the area in question but leaves the rest of the form open to interference. In this example, I tested all the different tools on the unmasked section, but on future works, half could be left raw and half smoothed. A hybrid of original and altered. Natural texture versus mechanically perfect. Accurate versus deformed. Truth and representative versus abstract and a lie.
