Little did I realise, whilst stood face to face with Tony Cragg’s sculptures being installed at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, that they would be so integral to my future practice and PhD study. I spent ages walking around them and admiring their scale, glitchy appearance and high polished surfaces. Despite watching countless video interviews with him, I’m still not sure about how they are made.
